मुंबई : आरबीआई ने बैंकों, एनबीएफसी और हाउसिंग फाइनेंस कंपनियों जैसी अपनी विनियमित संस्थाओं के लिए स्व-नियामक संगठनों (एसआरओ) को मान्यता देने के लिए एक व्यापक ढांचा जारी किया।
यह एसआरओ ढांचा व्यापक उद्देश्यों, कार्यों, पात्रता मानदंड और शासन मानकों को निर्धारित करता है, जो सभी एसआरओ के लिए समान होगा, चाहे वह किसी भी क्षेत्र का हो।
यह ढांचा रिज़र्व बैंक द्वारा मान्यता प्रदान करने के लिए एसआरओ द्वारा पालन किए जाने वाले व्यापक सदस्यता मानदंड और अन्य नियम एवं शर्तें भी निर्धारित करता है।
रूपरेखा में कहा गया है कि एक एसआरओ से अपेक्षा की जाती है कि वे जिस क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं, उसकी बेहतरी के लिए व्यापक उद्देश्यों के एक सेट का पालन करें, उन्नति को बढ़ावा दें और व्यापक वित्तीय प्रणाली के भीतर महत्वपूर्ण उद्योग चिंताओं को संबोधित करें।
