छत्तीसगढ़ शासन खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग रायपुर द्वारा प्रतिवर्ष खिलाडिय़ों, प्रशिक्षकों, निर्णायकों को खेल पुरस्कार प्रदान कर राज्य खेल अंलकरण सें सम्मानित किया जाता है। यह पुरस्कार राज्य के लिए उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वाले खिलाडियों, प्रशिक्षकों, निर्णायकों को प्रदान किये जाते हैं। इसके लिए विभाग द्वारा 7 अगस्त तक आवेदन आमंत्रित किया जा रहा हैं। प्रभारी खेल अधिकारी श्री शबाब हुसैन ने बताया कि आवेदन खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग के जिला कार्यालय या संचालनालय में राज्य खेल संघों से अनुशंसा सहित आवेदन निर्धारित तिथि तक कार्यालयीन समय अवधि में जमा किए जा सकते हैं। खिलाड़ी को पृथक-पृथक वर्षों के लिए पृथक-पृथक आवेदन प्रस्तुत करना होगा। आवेदन पत्रों का प्रारूप मय विज्ञापन विभाग की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है।
राज्य खेल अंलकरण के अंतर्गत सीनियर वर्ग के ऐसे खिलाडिय़ों को शहीद राजीव पाण्डे पुरस्कार से अलंकृत किया जाएगा, जिनके द्वारा राष्ट्रीय चैैम्पियनशिप में या राष्ट्रीय खेलों में कोई पदक प्राप्त किया गया हो या अधिकृत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में देश का प्रतिनिधित्व किया गया हो। इसी प्रकार जूनियर वर्ग के उन खिलाडिय़ों को शहीद कोैशल यादव पुरस्कार से अंलकृत किया जाएगा, जिनके द्वारा जूनियर वर्ग के राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप में कोई पदक प्राप्त किया गया हो। ऐसे खिलाड़ी जिन्होंने विगत 5 वर्षों में चार बार सीनियर वर्ग राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप में छत्तीसगढ़ की ओर से प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले महिला, पुरूष खिलाडिय़ो को शहीद पंकज विक्रम सम्मान से सम्मानित किया जाता है।
प्रशिक्षकों, निर्णायकों को वीर हनुमान सिंह पुरस्कार से अलंकृत किया जायेगा। खेल से जुड़े 55 वर्ष या अधिक उम्र के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खेल प्रतियोगिता मे भाग लिया हो या राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता में पदक प्राप्त किया हो या संबंधित ने ऐसी कोई उल्लेखनीय सेवा खेल के क्षेत्र में की हो, जिसके आधार पर उन्हें सम्मानित किये जाने हेतु विचार किया जाए, उन्हें शहीद विनोद चैबे सम्मान से अलंकृत किया जावेगा। इसी प्रकार सीनियर व जूनियर वर्ग में राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता पदक प्राप्त दल को मुख्यमंत्री ट्राफी प्रदान की जाती है। पुरस्कार के नियम छत्तीसगढ़ राजपत्र मे प्रकाशित किए गए है, नियमों के अंतर्गत पात्रता रखने वाले आवेदकों को पुरस्कार के लिए प्रावीण्यता के आधार पर चयन किया जाएगा।
