जगदलपुर, 12 जुलाई (आरएनएस)। बस्तर का गोंचा पर्व किसी एक समुदाय का नहीं वरन् बस्तर में निवास कर रहे विभिन्न धर्म एवं जातियों के लोगों का पर्व है। जगदलपुर गोंचा पर्व में तुपकी चलाने की एक अलग ही परंपरा दृष्टिगोचर होती है, जो कि बस्तर गोंचा पर्व का मुख्य आकर्षण है। तुपकी चलाने की परंपरा बस्तर को छोडक़र पूरे विश्व में अन्यत्र कहीं भी नहीं होती। दीवाली के पटाखे की तरह तुपकी की गोलियों से सारा शहर गूंज उठता है। यह बंदूक रूपी तुपकी पोले बांस की नली से बनायी जाती है, जिसे ग्रामीण तैयार करते हैं। इस तुपकी को तैयार करने के लिए, ग्रामीण गोंचा पर्व के पहले ही जुट जाते हैं तथा तरह-तरह की तुपकियों का निर्माण अपनी कल्पना शक्ति के आधार पर करते हैं।
श्री गोंचा रथयात्रा पूजा विधान एवं बाहुड़ा गोंचा रथयात्रा पूजा विधान में तुपकी की सलामी देने की परंपरा है। ग्रामीणों द्वारा बनाई जाने वाली इन तुपकियों में आधुनिकता भी समाहित होती है, ताड़ के पत्तों, बांस की खपच्ची, छिन्द अर्थात् देशी खजूर के पत्ते, कागज, रंग-बिरंगी पन्नियों के साथ तुपकियों में लकड़ी का इस्तेमाल करते हुए उसे बन्दूक का रूप देते हैं। ग्रामीण अपने साथ लायी तुपकियों में से एक अपने लिए रखकर शेष लोगों को बेच देते हैं, इससे उन्हें कुछ आर्थिक लाभ भी हो जाता है। गोंचा पर्व के दौरान कागज और सनपना की पन्नियों से सजाई गई रंग-बिरंगी विभिन्न आकार-प्रकार की तुपकियां लुभावनी लगती हैं। सम्पूर्ण भारत में बस्तर के अलावे तुपकी चालन की अनूठी परंपरा और कहीं नहीं है।
ग्रामीण महिलाएं तुपकी के लिए पेंग के गुच्छे बेचती नजर आती हैं। वस्तुत: यह मालकांगिनी नामक लता का फल है, जो अंगूर के गुच्छों की तरह उगता है। यह फल औषधीय गुणधारक है, इसका तेल जोड़ों में होने वाले गठिया के दर्द निवारण के लिए रामबाण है।
बस्तर में बन्दूक को तुपक कहा जाता है, तुपक शब्द से ही तुपकी शब्द बना है। यहां रथयात्रा गोंचा पर्व के दौरान बच्चे, युवक-युवतियां, रंग-बिरंगी तुपकियां लेकर नगर में हजारों की संख्या में अंचल के श्रद्धालु जुटते हैं, जिससे नगर में मेले का माहौल बना रहता है। आज सुबह से ही बड़ी संख्या में तुपकी और पेंग के साथ ग्रामीण बस्तर गोंचा पर्व के श्रीगोंचा रथयात्रा पूजा विधान में शामिल होने पंहुचे, और भगवान जगन्नाथ स्वामी को सलामी देने की परंपरा का अनुपालन करते हुए तुपकी चलाकर श्रृद्धा और भक्ति के साथ जगन्नाथ स्वामी के दर्शन का पुण्य लाभ प्राप्त किया।
