नईदिल्ली, 11 मार्च। भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम ने टेस्ट सीरीज के 5वें टेस्ट में इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट टीम को पारी और 64 रन से हराकर सीरीज पर 4-1 से कब्जा जमा लिया।सीरीज के पहले मैच में करारी हार झेलने के बाद भारतीय टीम ने जोरदार वापसी करते हुए कमाल कर दिखाया।बड़ी बात यह है कि भारत ने न केवल सीरीज अपने नाम की, बल्कि कई बड़े रिकॉर्ड भी धराशाही कर दिए।
भारत 5 या इससे ज्यादा मैच की टेस्ट सीरीज में पहला मैच हारने के बावजूद 4-1 से सीरीज अपने नाम करने वाली सिर्फ चौथी टीम बनी है।पिछली बार यह कारनामा 112 साल पहले हुआ था। इंग्लैंड ने 1911-12 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 5 मैच की एशेज सीरीज में पहला टेस्ट हारने के बाद 4-1 से ही मात दी थी।ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने अपनी घरेलू सरजमीं पर इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ साल 1897-98 और साल 1901-02 में यह कारनामा किया था।
भारतीय टीम पहले मुकाबले में 190 रन की बढ़त लेने के बावजूद हार गई थी। उससे पहले इतनी बढ़त (192 रन बनाम श्रीलंका-2015) लेने के बाद वह सिर्फ 1 मैच हारी थी।घरेलू मैदान पर आखिरी बार वह 1964 में 65 रन की बढ़त लेने के बाद ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ हारी थी।भारतीय टीम पहले मुकाबले में 231 रन का लक्ष्य नहीं हासिल कर पाई। घरेलू मैदान पर यह दूसरा सबसे छोटा लक्ष्य था, जिसे वह हासिल नहीं कर पाई।
भारत के लिए सीरीज में 5 खिलाडिय़ों ने डेब्यू किया। साल 1997 के बाद संयुक्त रूप से भारत के लिए पहली बार 1 सीरीज में इतने खिलाडिय़ों ने डेब्यू किया है।पिछले 35 साल में किसी भी घरेलू सीरीज में यह सबसे ज्यादा है।5 टेस्ट मैच में 18 खिलाड़ी भारत के लिए खेले, जो पिछले 60 साल में संयुक्त रूप से सबसे ज्यादा है।पिछले 40 साल में किसी घरेलू सीरीज में यह संख्या सबसे अधिक संख्या भी है।
विशाखापट्टनम टेस्ट के दौरान जो रूट ने इंग्लैंड के लिए 11,447 रन पूरे किए थे। दूसरी तरफ मौजूदा भारतीय टीम के खिलाडिय़ों के कुल रन 10,336 थे।इस टेस्ट मैच को मिलाकर मौजूदा भारतीय टीम के सभी खिलाडिय़ों ने कुल 110 मुकाबले खेले थे। इसमें से 50 प्रतिशत टेस्ट मैच तो सिर्फ कप्तान रोहित शर्मा (55) के थे।रविचंद्रन अश्विन, रविंद्र जडेजा और कुलदीप यादव ने मिलकर 64 टेस्ट विकेट लिए। इंग्लैंड के स्पिन गेंदबाजों के नाम 50 विकेट आए।
रूट, जॉनी बेयरस्टो और बेन स्टोक्स जैसे अनुभवी खिलाडिय़ों ने सीरीज में 30 पारियों में 26.10 की खराब औसत के साथ सिर्फ 757 रन बनाए। उनके बल्ले से 1 शतक और 2 अर्धशतक निकले।दूसरी तरफ भारत के लिए डेब्यू करने वाले 4 बल्लेबाजों ने 15 पारियों मे 36.31 की औसत से 472 रन बनाए। इस दौरान उन्होंने 5 अर्धशतक लगाए।आखिरी 3 टेस्ट मैच में सरफराज खान, ध्रुव जुरेल और देवदत्त पडिक्ल ने 409 रन बनाए थे।
