दुनिया भर में सोने की कीमत रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंची है। भारत में प्रति दस ग्राम (24 कैरेट) सोने का भाव 65 हजार रुपये के पार चला गया है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में एक औंस सोने का भाव 2100 डॉलर से ऊपर चला गया। सोने के भाव में इस बढ़ोतरी के साथ-साथ क्रिप्टोकरेंसी बिटकॉइन की कीमत ने भी रिकॉर्ड बनाया है। एक बिटकॉइन की कीमत 69 हजार डॉलर पार कर गई है। इन दोनों घटनाओं में आपसी रिश्ता है।
यह इस बात का संकेत हैं कि दुनिया भर में निवेशक अमेरिकी वित्तीय संपत्तियों से पैसा निकाल कर अधिक मुनाफा देने वाली या अधिक भरोसेमंद संपत्तियों में निवेश कर रहे हैं। इसका तात्कालिक कारण यह बताया है कि अमेरिका का फेडरल रिजर्व जल्द ही ब्याज दरों में कटौती करने वाला है, जिससे अमरेरिकी ट्रेजरी बिल, बॉन्ड आदि में निवेश पर मुनाफा घट जाएगा। लेकिन यह सिर्फ फौरी वजह है। जबकि सोने में पैसा लगाना एक दीर्घकालिक रुझान बन चुका है। सोने की सबसे ज्यादा मांग चीन में बढ़ी है, जहां का शेयर बाजार सरकारी नीतियों के कारण अनिश्चय में है।
ऐसे में निवेशक सोने का सहारा ले रहे हैं। अमेरिका में बड़ी कंपनियों के शेयरों के भाव फिलहाल रिकॉर्ड बना रहे हैं, लेकिन आशंका यह है कि वहां एक बबूला तैयार हो रहा है, जिसका देर-सबेर फूटना तय है। वैसे भी अमेरिका सरकार पर तेजी से बढ़ते कर्ज कारण पूरी अमेरिकी अर्थव्यवस्था के बारे में इस समय कयासों का दौर है। एक आकलन के मुताबिक अमेरिका सरकार पर हर 100 दिन पर एक बिलियन डॉलर का कर्ज बढ़ रहा है।
जल्द यह स्थिति आने वाली है, जब अमेरिका को हर साल एक ट्रिलियन डॉलर से अधिक रकम सिर्फ ब्याज के रूप में चुकानी होगी। इस पर आम राय है कि यह स्थिति टिकाऊ नहीं है। लेकिन इसका कोई सहज समाधान भी नजर नहीं आ रहा है। ऐसे में अमेरिकी मुद्रा डॉलर में भरोसा घटना लाजिमी है। खासकर उस समय तो और भी ज्यादा जब ब्रिक्स समूह अंतरराष्ट्रीय कारोबार में इस मुद्रा का विकल्प तैयार करने में गंभीरता से जुटा हुआ है। परिणाम है सोने का और चमक उठना।
