मुख्यमंत्री साय ने बाल विवाह मुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ अभियान का किया शुभारंभ
18 वर्ष से कम आयु में हो जाता है छत्तीसगढ़ में 12.1 प्रतिशत बालिकाओं का विवाह
रायपुर : मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णु देव साय ने आज राजधानी के साइंस कॉलेज ग्राउंड में आयोजित महतारी वंदन सम्मेलन में बाल विवाह मुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ अभियान का शुभारंभ किया। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने स्वयं बाल विवाह रोकथाम संकल्प पत्र पर हस्ताक्षर किये। अभियान का संचालन प्रदेश में महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा यूनिसेफ के सहयोग से किया जाएगा। सम्मेलन में मुख्यमंत्री ने बाल विवाह मुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ के ब्रोशर का अनावरण किया और महिलाओं को बाल विवाह रोकने की शपथ भी दिलाई। इस अवसर पर महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री श्रीमती लक्ष्मी राजवाड़े सहित बड़ी संख्या में जनप्रतिनिधिगण उपस्थित थे। मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय के नेतृत्व में जनप्रतिनिधियों और महिलाओं ने, बाल विवाह नहीं करवाने, समाज में बाल विवाह के रूप में व्याप्त बुराई का सदा विरोध करने और बाल विवाह रोकने के लिए आमजन को जागरूक करने का संकल्प लिया। गौरतलब है कि राष्ट्रीय परिवार स्वास्थ्य सर्वेक्षण-5 की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार छत्तीसगढ़ में 12.1 प्रतिशत बालिकाओं का विवाह 18 वर्ष से कम आयु में हो जाता है। इसमें सूरजपुर जिले में सर्वाधिक 34.28 प्रतिशत, बलरामपुर में 24.60 प्रतिशत, कोरिया जिले में 22.89 प्रतिशत और जशपुर जिले में 21.90 प्रतिशत बाल विवाह होता है। बाल विवाह के इन आंकड़ों को ध्यान में रखते हुए बाल विवाह मुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ अभियान का शुभारंभ किया गया है। इस अभियान के माध्यम से जन भागीदारी को मूल मंत्र मानते हुए समुदाय में बाल विवाह के विरुद्ध एक अभियान चलाया जाएगा। जिसमें पंचायत राज संस्थानों व नगरीय निकाय के जनप्रतिनिधियों, समाज प्रमुखों, स्वयंसेवी संगठनों, महिला समूहों, युवा संगठनों, शासकीय विभागों, गौर शासकीय संस्थाओं और आमजनों की सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। समाज की सहभागिता से आगामी तीन वर्षों में बाल विवाह मुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ बनाने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।
